Black Pool is pretty arid frequently; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is November. Summertime at Black Pool comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. Highs throughout the wintertime are typically in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Black Pool. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. And if that's       not enough, there's heaps more to do in the neighborhood of Black Pool. A nice vista of striking Beaver Mountain is available from Black Pool, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Joe Wright Creek. And that's not everything you can do here in the Front Range. After a long day outdoors Peak To Peak Lodge Inc. is a great spot to spend a night or two, and locations like Raspberry Park are wonderful to have a look at. If only every site had this much outdoors                  amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. There is a good hiking trail near Black Pool called the Flattop Mountain Trail; the snow is perfect at Berthoud Pass. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more entertaining stuff to do in the Front Range. There's so much to do here at Black Pool that you need to camp here for a while, Moraine Park Campground is a brilliant location for that. Black Pool is not the only location nearby, Loomis Lake is a nearby lake; you can stay the night at Endovalley Campground. Near Black Pool you find the Hidden Valley Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cache La Poudre River. Fern Falls is always fun to check out; if you need a place to stay Estes Park Condos is a great choice. Just can't get enough of the Front Range. A delightful place near Black Pool is Forest Canyon, and going for a hike on the Loch Vale Trail is always a splendid adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Interesting geology is available here; Castle Rock is in the neighborhood of Black Pool; it's a perfect idea to take a look at Hidden River. This lake is so wonderful.
