This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Big Buck Creek, and do check out Castle Number 4 Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake. All through the warm months at Black Mountain Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's; the overnight is a bit cooler of course, typically in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 30's with temperatures at Black Mountain Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. Now, you

There is a magnificent hiking trail right next door to Black Mountain Lake called the Long Ridge Stock Driveway; if you came to camp Castle Lakes Campground Resort is a splendid site to do that. While you're here at Black Mountain Lake, you could also take a look at scenic Castle Rock Lake, and going for a hike on the Cebolla Trail is always a good adventure. | |

Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Highlander RV Campground is a nice site for that; on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Fern Creek Stock Driveway. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Silverton is one of those
things you just have to do. All year is a splendid time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains if you love the outdoors. The sight of gorgeous Black Mountain near Black Mountain Lake is good, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Lake Fork Gunnison River.
