These mountains rock, just check out all the exciting stuff to do in the Park Range. Black Lake is a site with many visitors from Silverthorne, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Silverthorne. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Davis Springs Campground is a perfect location to do that, and the Gore Range Trail       is a fine hiking trail nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range. On a perfect day at Black Lake you can take a hike along the Lost Lake Trail, and you're perhaps into lakes, Lost Lake is one of those close by. Any time is a great time at Black Lake if you fancy the outdoors. Camping at McDonald Flats Campground is always a good experience, and nearby you find the Surprise Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. At Black Lake through                  the summer months highs are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Black Lake. This lake is so wonderful. At Black Lake you can observe Dora Mountain, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Vail is quite near. The skiing at Copper Mountain is fine. Black Lake is a location that is relatively dry generally; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Park Range.
