Beautiful Black Lake has much to offer visitors. Lakes? Sure, Black Creek Reservoir is nearby; Black Lake is a place with many visitors from Silverthorne. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Lost Lake Trail is nice fun, and you can never get enough of the nice skiing at Vail. Why not camp at Davis Springs Campground while you're here at Black Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Vail Racquet Club Condominiums is a great choice,

| | and going for a hike along the Surprise Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Black Lake. A glorious close by hotel is Silverthorne Days Inn, and McDonald Flats Campground is a glorious local campground. Through the summer at Black Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's while | |

Black Lake is located in the Park Range. These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing things to do in the Park Range. Have a great hiking adventure
along the Gore Range Trail; the peak of Dora Mountain can be spotted from Black Lake. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Park Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you
then we recommend Blue River, and splendid skiing awaits you at Copper Mountain.
Around Black Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls through August, and February on the other hand is the driest. There
are other locations here than Black Lake, for example Lost Lake, also Black Creek Dam is worth visiting if you're here.
