Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Silverthorne Days Inn is a perfect spot to get some rest; Dora Mountain is a peak you can distinguish from Black Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is a magnificent hiking trail close to Black Lake called the Lost Lake Trail, and fine skiing awaits you at Copper Mountain. Black Lake is located in the Park Range. This lake is so wonderful. At Black Lake you       always meet someone from Silverthorne, and an out of the ordinary thing to explore in the neighborhood of Black Lake is Black Creek Dam. Do pop by Black Creek Reservoir close to Black Lake, it's a pretty lake, and you can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Vail. Not much rainfall falls here at Black Lake; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Go for a hike on the Surprise Trail;                  Black Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, McDonald Flats Campground is a fine local campground. All the outdoors amusing things in the Park Range will keep you coming back time and again. A brilliant nearby hotel is Vail Racquet Club Condominiums, and Lost Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Park Range. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blue River, and if you came to camp Davis Springs Campground is a delightful site to do that. Going for a hike on the Gore Range Trail is always a delightful adventure. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Black Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's.
