Throughout the summer at Black Lake highs are regularly in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Black Lake. Black Lake is ordinarily a rather dried out place; July is the month that gets       the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Black Lakes Campground is a perfect place to do that; as expected Corral Creek flows through this vicinity. This place, Black Lake, it completely has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Lakes? Sure, Black Lake Number 1 Reservoir is in close proximity. A great location to pop by in the vicinity of Black Lake is Shrine Pass; Uneva Peak is trouble-free to                  spot from Black Lake. Camping at Gore Creek Campground is always a tremendous experience, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Wheeler Dillion Trail. After a long day outdoors Copper Junction Condominiums is a brilliant site to spend a night or two; Breckenridge is a very popular ski area nearby. There is a tremendous hiking trail near Black Lake called the Deluge Lake Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Arkansas River. Yeah, come here to Black Lake for a glorious time. A good nearby hotel is Summit House, and there are plenty of folks from Silverthorne here. This lake is so wonderful.
