If you are in Summit county it's always a good idea to stop by Black Creek Reservoir. There are great locations to look at along the Surprise Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Vail Racquet Club Condominiums. Black Creek Dam is a beautiful spot next to Black Creek Reservoir; paddling on Blue River is so much fun. So much fun stuff in the Park Range, just mind-blowing. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. Through the days of summer at Black Creek Reservoir temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Black Creek Reservoir. But wait, there's more to do close to Black Creek Reservoir. | |

You'll locate a charming lake called Black Lake near Black Creek Reservoir, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Vail if you're here.
And that's not all the things you can do here in the Park Range. Near
Black Creek Reservoir you come across the Gore Range Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail; Silverthorne Days Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Lost Lake Trail is always
a magnificent adventure; camping is available at Davis Springs Campground.
Black Creek Reservoir is a location that is reasonably dehydrated typically; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand
is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Blue River in a kayak, and skiing at Copper Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do.
