What a nice lake Black Creek Reservoir is. And if that's not enough there's a heap more cool things to do in the Park Range. On a tremendous day at Black Creek Reservoir you can take a hike along the Surprise Trail, and Lost Lake is a good lake nearby. If the weather is delightful here at Black Creek Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Lost Lake Trail. Not much rainfall falls here at Black Creek Reservoir; August is when you get the most rain here,

| | and February is when it's the driest. So much exciting stuff to do at Black Creek Reservoir, so little time. Blue River is a perfect whitewater spot close to Black Creek Reservoir, and the skiing at Vail is delightful. McDonald Flats Campground is a good local campground, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Black Creek Dam. A pleasant nearby hotel is Silverthorne Days Inn. Lakes? so wonderful. While you're here at Black Creek Reservoir you can take a hike along the Gore Range Trail; why not camp at Davis Springs Campground if you're here at Black Creek Reservoir. Just can't get enough of the Park Range. Everybody
nearby loves skiing at Copper Mountain, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blue River. Black Creek Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. This lake is so wonderful.
You'll meet a lot of people from Silverthorne here; after a long day outdoors Vail Racquet Club Condominiums is a fine spot to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Black Creek Reservoir commonly tend to be in the 80's while night
lows are typically in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Black Creek Reservoir temperatures sink to the-10's.
