The beauty of Black Creek Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Lost Lake, and Davis Springs Campground is a perfect local campground. Black Creek Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Black Creek Reservoir. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's while

Reservoir is right by the Surprise Trail. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Park Range. Black Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and Vail Racquet Club Condominiums is a glorious
place to get some rest. The Lost Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. That right there is a lot of fun things already but it goes on, the Park Range has it all. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Copper Mountain is in the neighborhood
of Black Creek Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Blue River. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Black Creek Reservoir; Gore Range Trail is a magnificent local trail,
and a good close by hotel is Silverthorne Days Inn. Around Black Creek Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
