In Colorado there are many beautiful lakes, Bison Lake is one of them. Bison Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls all through October while January is mostly the driest month. So many enjoyable things to do here at Bison Lake, too glorious to be true. If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Glenwood Springs is a good choice, and the scenery at Bison Lake Dam is charming. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Bison Lake, you
| | | |
| | could also go to close by Heart Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Bison Lake Campground if you're here at Bison Lake, and the snow is pleasant at Sunlight Mountain. If you came for an overnight stay Supply Basin Campground is a splendid place to camp, and nearby you come across the Last Chance Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Supply Basin Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could explore, and the Fayville Trail is a good hiking trail | |

nearby. For the duration of the long summer days here at Bison Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's, and
nighttime lows at Bison Lake throughout the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 0's. If the weather is magnificent here at Bison Lake, you can go for a hike along the Oyster Lake Trail, and Clarion Collection Glenwood Springs is a
good spot to get some rest. The sight of Hunns Peak from Bison Lake is delightful, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Colorado River.

Trappers Lake Campground
 | 14 miles away I've been going to Yampa since I was around 5 years of age.
