Bills Ranch Lake in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. You can never get enough of the
great skiing at Crested Butte, and if you're visiting from Silverthorne, you won't be the only one. Summertime highs at Bills Ranch Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. During the
winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Bills Ranch Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Breckenridge if you're here,
and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Breckenridge Golf Club is around here.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Bills Ranch Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Cove Campground
is a wonderful site for that, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Miners Creek Trail. Not far from Bills Ranch Lake, you'll hit upon Old Dillon Reservoir which is a beautiful lake. What a place this is for
outdoors people. Why not stop at nearby Meadow Creek while you're here at Bills Ranch Lake, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Arkansas River.
