Billings Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Billings Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range. At Billings Lake you can make out Calico Mountain, and charming scenery and great skiing is what you get at Monarch. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Billings Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 30's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the-20's overnight here at Billings

Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Sawatch Range. A great nearby hotel is Best Western Vista Inn, and needless to say, this is a pleasant neighborhood for people who like lakes, Hunt Lake is a lake around here. You feel that's enough? into lakes, North Fork Reservoir is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Billings Lake is right by the Fooses Creek Trail, and you can take a little journey to North Fork Dam while you're here at Billings Lake.

too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff next to Billings Lake. Have a great hiking adventure along the Pitkin Stock Driveway, and Chalk Creek Pass is another brilliant place to have a look at close by. Whohoo, so much fun stuff
in one place! The Sawatch Range is so good! A delightful location for whitewater paddling close to Billings Lake is Arkansas River; if you need a site to stay Buena Vista Super 8 Motel is a pleasant choice.
This lake is so wonderful.
You can run the rapids of Arkansas River next to Billings Lake, and Garfield Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. Take a hike on the Browns Creek Trail, and do pay a visit to Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park since
you're here at Billings Lake. It is very waterless here at Billings Lake mostly; most of the rain falls throughout August while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
