There's nice hiking along the James Peak Lake Trail; the panorama of scenic Breckinridge Peak is brilliant. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Winter Park, and after a long day outdoors The Peck House is a brilliant location to spend a night or two. Hit the slopes at Berthoud Pass in close proximity. At Bill Moore Lake through the warm months highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs
