The beauty of Bighorn Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Howelsen Hill is perfect, and if you need a place to stay Winterwood Townhomes is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. So many cool things in the Park Range, just tremendous. A day on the slopes of Steamboat is just what you need; Lake Katherine is a nearby lake that you could visit.
And that's not everything there is to do here in the Park Range.

| | The Lone Pine Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near Bighorn Lake, and nearby you hit upon the Lost Ranger Trail which is a nice hiking trail. If you get bored of Bighorn Lake, you could also have a look at close by Bear Lakes, and if you come at the right time of year, Elk River offers some good whitewater. Beaver Creek Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and going for a hike on the Red Dirt Pass Trail is always a great adventure.

Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest of the months is August. Through the days of summer here at Bighorn Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's, and the nighttime
is a tad cooler of course, mostly in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Bighorn Lake drop into the-10's. So much exciting stuff
near Bighorn Lake, clearly mind-blowing. After a long day outdoors CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a good location to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay Helena Campground is a fine spot to camp.
