Camping at Big Stratton Reservoir is tremendous fun, Golden Eagle Ranch RV Park is a tremendous local campground; nearby you find the
Palmer Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. High temperatures at Big Stratton Reservoir through the warm months are in the 70's while night lows are generally in the 40's. Through the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's;
overnight lows at Big Stratton Reservoir throughout the winter commonly fall into the 0's. Not much precipitation falls here at Big Stratton Reservoir; through July this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest.
