Big Spruce Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Be careful coming to Big Spruce Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Gotta ski! Vail is a great place to do that; if you need a site to stay Hyatt Mountain Lodge is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful.  | 13 miles away Beautiful drive up to Lede Reservoir. We started in Eagle and took Sylvan Lake road all the way past the lake and then took a right at the first intersection. After climbing up and around the peak in front of us we were upon some huge rolling meadows that were among the forrests. A slight drop down into the valley on the west side of the mountains and a left turn lead us to the reservoir. It is a great spot with some fishing paths around the water and a number of campsites as well. We continued west to Gypsum Creek Road and a short drive back to the town of Gypsum.... |
