Big Spruce Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Be careful coming to Big Spruce Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Gotta ski! Vail is a great place to do that; if you need a site to stay Hyatt Mountain Lodge is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Big Spruce Lake, for example Big Pine Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Eagle River. Be careful coming to the Sawatch Range, you

Beautiful drive up to Lede Reservoir. We started in Eagle and took Sylvan Lake road all the way past the lake and then took a right at the first intersection. After climbing up and around the peak in front of us we were upon some huge rolling meadows that were among the forrests. A slight drop down into the valley on the west side of the mountains and a left turn lead us to the reservoir. It is a great spot with some fishing paths around the water and a number of campsites as well. We continued west to Gypsum Creek Road and a short drive back to the town of Gypsum.... |
