Big Seep Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Irwin Lodge is a very popular ski area close by; there are some perfect whitewater spots on Taylor River. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Big Seep Reservoir; Onemile Cattle Trail is a good local trail. There's so much to do here at Big Seep Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Comanche Campground is a perfect spot for that. Roundup Basin is a fine place here at Big Seep Reservoir;

Through the summer at Big Seep Reservoir temperatures are frequently in the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 30's. Gunnison.
Big Seep Reservoir is pretty dry commonly; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and June is the month with the least moisture. There's great hiking along the Fossil Ridge Trail, and if
you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Gunnison/Crested Butte is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful.
