There's so much to do here at Big Red Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Antone Spring Campground is a great place for that. Horsefly Bench is an attention-grabbing thing to observe if you're here at Big Red Reservoir; there are plenty of people from Montrose here. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Big Red Reservoir through the winter ordinarily drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Pool Creek Trail is splendid fun. Why not have a look at nearby Big A Creek since you're here at Big Red Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Montrose. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.
