If you came for an overnight stay Eggleston Lake Campground is a delightful location to camp; going for a hike along the Lily Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. At Kitson Dam near Big Meadows Reservoir there are some interesting things to see, and wonderful skiing awaits you at Powderhorn. This lake is so wonderful. Spruce Lodge Resort is a       magnificent spot to get some rest, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the High Foot Trail. But wait, there's more to do next to Big Meadows Reservoir. Lakes? Sure, Blackman Reservoir is in the neighborhood, and the peak of Horse Mountain can be made out from Big Meadows Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Big Meadows Reservoir you can take a hike along the Foot Trail, and camping is available at Eggleston Campground.                  Summertime at Big Meadows Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 90's.
