A day on the slopes of Powderhorn is just what you need; Big Meadows Reservoir is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Eggleston Lake Campground is a delightful place to camp nearby. Big Meadows Reservoir is right by the Lily Lake Trail, and Eggleston Campground is a good campground nearby. This       lake is so wonderful. If the weather is lovely, you get a good vista of Horse Mountain from Big Meadows Reservoir. Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a great location to get some rest, and Big Meadows Reservoir is not the only spot nearby, Parker Basin Reservoir Number 3 is a nearby lake. All the outdoors enjoyable things near Big Meadows Reservoir will keep you coming back over and over. Hiking along the Foot Trail is magnificent fun, unsurprisingly you                  could also take a look at Little Meadows Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. Going for a hike along the High Foot Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Kitson Dam is picturesque. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Big Meadows Reservoir.
