Go for a hike on the Indian Trail, and Radisson Inn & Suites Colorado Springs Airport is a great place to get some rest. An interesting thing to explore in the neighborhood of Big Johnson Reservoir is A McCray Dam, and after a long day outdoors SpringHill Suites Colorado Springs South is a good place to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Big Johnson Reservoir       through the summer months are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Big Johnson Reservoir. So much fun stuff near Big Johnson Reservoir, just fantastic. There are glorious locations to discover along the Palmer Trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Colorado Springs here. This lake is so wonderful. Big Johnson Reservoir is a great place to camp, Colorado Springs South is a great place, and on a wonderful day you get a tremendous panorama of Skinner Hill from Big Johnson Reservoir. Big Johnson Reservoir is usually a quite waterless place; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January.
