If you are traveling by, why not stop by Big Horn Reservoir. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Front Range. Stay the night at Clyde Campground, and do take a hike on the Indian Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Country Lodge, also Big Horn Dam is worth a visit if you're here. A journey to Bottomless Pit invigorates the soul, and The Crags Campground is a delightful campground here.

warm months at Big Horn Reservoir highs are regularly in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; night lows in the 0's for Big Horn Reservoir.
But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Front Range. If you need a spot to stay The Cliff House Hotel at Pikes Peak is a great choice, and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a great national park.
