If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Arkansas River, and a good nearby hotel is Silver King Inn. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Ski Cooper; after a long day outdoors Delaware Hotel is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. There's just no way somebody can       get bored here at Big Evans Reservoir. While you're here at Big Evans Reservoir it's a great idea to stop at Poverty Flat. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Leadville Rv Corral is always a pleasant experience; if you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at MT Massive Golf Course. A brilliant place to camp here at Big Evans Reservoir is Belle of Colorado Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Big Evans Reservoir; Main Range Trail                  is a delightful local trail. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Isabelle is in the neighborhood of Big Evans Reservoir; why not take a refreshing hike along the Limber Grove Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Canterbury Hill is trouble-free to spot from Big Evans Reservoir, and if you desire a little side visit, try Johnson Gulch. Any time is a delightful time at Big Evans Reservoir if you love the outdoors. Copper Mountain has nice slopes and a friendly staff; there's delightful hiking along the Main Range Trail.
