It is very dry here at Big Beaver Reservoir generally; most of the rain falls all through October while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. During the long summer days highs here at Big Beaver Reservoir get into the 80's;                  the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Big Beaver Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A great place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Big Beaver Reservoir is White River - South Fork, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lake Avery is just a very short distance away. Take a hike on the Sleepy Cat Trail. There's so much to do here at Big Beaver Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Hill Creek Campground and Trailhead is a good location for that.
