Big Beaver Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth taking a look at, and Big Beaver Reservoir is right by the Sleepy Cat Trail. Big Beaver Reservoir is frequently a quite dried out place; most of the rain falls all through October       while January is frequently the driest month. Stay the night at Hill Creek Campground and Trailhead, and Big Beaver Reservoir is not the only spot nearby, Dobbs Reservoir is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you come at the right time of year, White River - North Fork offers some good whitewater, and a lake close by is Lake Avery. Glide down the rapids of White River - South Fork                  in a kayak, and hiking along the Fayville Trail is pleasant fun. Through the warm days of summer at Big Beaver Reservoir highs are mostly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Big Beaver Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
