A brilliant nearby hotel is Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge; the skiing at Powderhorn is tremendous. Through the long summer days, highs usually are in the 90's at Big Beaver Reservoir while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Big Beaver Reservoir during the winter ordinarily dip into the 10's.       There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Big Beaver Reservoir. The scenery at Big Beaver Dam right next door to Big Beaver Reservoir is pretty; Big Beaver Reservoir is a delightful place to camp, Spruce Grove Campground is a delightful place. Island Lake Campground is a great campground here. Don't leave Big Beaver Reservoir without first going for a hike along the High Trail; Comfort Inn Delta is a good location to get some rest. Good hiking is                  available along the Cottonwood Lakes Foot Trail, and you'll find a wonderful lake called Bull Basin Reservoir Number 1. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Big Beaver Reservoir; Foot Trail is a tremendous local trail, and there are some good whitewater spots on Kannah Creek.
