Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Berkeley Lake is peerless! An afternoon playing golf at Willis Case Golf Course is always a diversion, and if you came for an overnight stay The Prospect RV Park is a magnificent location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Howard Johnson       Inn - Denver, and don't leave Berkeley Lake without first going for a hike along the Beaver Brook Trail. Berkeley Lake gets very little rainfall; during May this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. You're sure to come across some fine folks from Denver-Aurora here, and there's glorious hiking along the Mesa Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful lake like Ashland Reservoir in close proximity to Berkeley Lake is a great                  spot to stop at, and soar down the rapids of South Platte River in a kayak. At Berkeley Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Berkeley Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. Ralston Creek is a good local stream, and Lake Rhoda is a splendid lake close by.
