Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not have a look at Sunnyside Lakes close to Benton Lake; a great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express EAGLE. Benton Lake gets very little rain; March is the month that gets the most snow; June meanwhile is the driest month. Whitewater       paddling is perfect on Sweetwater Creek, and Benton Lake is right by the South Derby Trail. Through the long summer days at Benton Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Benton Lake plunge into the 0's. Get soaked paddling on Colorado River, and hiking along the High Trail is glorious fun. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Benton Lake.
