If you haven’t been to Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park, you must schedule some time for it while you're here, and close by you come across the Farmers Creek Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. There are good spots to discover along the Farmers Creek Trail, and after a long day outdoors Allington Inn and Suites is a glorious place to spend a night or two. Throughout the summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Benito       Lake. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Benito Lake temperatures plunge to the-10's. Around Benito Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; through August this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Just can't get enough of the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. You can run the rapids of Rio Grande in the neighborhood                  of Benito Lake, and there's some flowing water close by, Benito Creek is a stream you can have a look at while you're here. Any time is a fine time at Benito Lake if you fancy the outdoors. Going for a hike on the Skyline Trail is always a good adventure, and a tour to Saguache Falls will fill your spirit with glorious feelings. And that's not everything you can do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
