Beltz Number 2 Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. No need to travel far to visit out of the ordinary stuff like Dog Head, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Royal Gorge Motel. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Beltz Number 2 Reservoir. Some of the water close by flows, like Hay Creek; if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the

| | Rule Ridge Trail. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Front Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend South Platte River. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Beltz Number 2 Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Cripple Creek Gold Campground.

Beltz Number 2 Reservoir is delightful, and going for a hike along the Phantom Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a great national park, and after a
long day outdoors Country Lodge is a great place to spend a night or two. Around Beltz Number 2 Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; during the month of July you get the most rain around here; the driest month is January.
On a good day at Beltz Number 2 Reservoir you can take a hike along the Longwater Trail. There's so much to do here at Beltz Number 2 Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Prospectors RV Park is a good place for that.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. The warmest time of the year at Beltz Number 2 Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, commonly in the 40's.
For the period of the winter highs are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at Beltz Number 2 Reservoir dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. Jordan Number 1 Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
