You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the area in close proximity to Belmear Lake has to offer. Don't leave Belmear Lake without first checking out The Rincon, and camping is available at Miramonte Reservoir Campground. If you need a place to stay Dunton Hot Springs is a pleasant choice, and close by you stumble on the Stoner Mesa Trail       which is a delightful hiking trail. It is very dried out here at Belmear Lake mostly; all through July this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Echo Basin Dude And Guest Ranch, LLC is a nice spot to get some rest, and Dunham Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Dolores River, and at Dunham Dam close to Belmear                  Lake there are some interesting things to see. Throughout the summer here at Belmear Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Belmear Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
