This lake is so wonderful. Near Bellmire Reservoir you discover a golf course called Ute Creek Golf Course, and Longmont/Twin Peaks Super 8 Motel is a great site to get some rest. There's whitewater on Saint Vrain Creek - North for all you adrenaline rush seekers; while you're here at Bellmire Reservoir it's a brilliant idea to take a look at Mullen Park. Going for a hike on       the Jug Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Lakes? Sure, Blue Mountain Reservoir is around here. This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Crystal Dam in the neighborhood of Bellmire Reservoir is striking; dry warm beds await you at Hawthorn Suites - Longmont/Boulder, Co. Be careful coming to Bellmire Reservoir, you might not ever want to go home again. There is a delightful hiking trail in the vicinity of Bellmire Reservoir called the Round Mountain Trail;                  camping is available at Longmont Koa Kampground. You can run the rapids of Big Thompson River near Bellmire Reservoir, and there are good spots to discover along the Saddle Rock Trail. Not much rain falls here at Bellmire Reservoir; May is the month that gets the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. A tour to Rocky Mountain National Park is worthwhile. Throughout the summer at Bellmire Reservoir temperatures are frequently in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Bellmire Reservoir are in the 10's.
