Rocky Mountain National Park is a very nice place to visit close to Bellmire Reservoir, and going for a hike along the Jug Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Bellmire Reservoir beyond doubt is in the middle of a lovely outdoors       paradise. If you come at the right time of year, Big Thompson River offers some delightful whitewater; after a long day outdoors Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Longmont/Boulder is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Saint Vrain Creek - North, and an exciting thing to explore close to Bellmire Reservoir is Crystal Dam. Mullen Park is a great site here at Bellmire Reservoir, and hiking along the Round Mountain Trail is pleasant                  fun. For the duration of the months of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Bellmire Reservoir. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Bellmire Reservoir. Bellmire Reservoir is usually a pretty arid spot; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Crystal Lake near Bellmire Reservoir, it's a stunning lake, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Saddle Rock Trail. What a place this is for outdoors people. A delightful lake like Highland Reservoir Number 2 near Bellmire Reservoir is a good location to visit, and Super 8 Longmont/Twin Peaks is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
