Some of the water close by flows, like South Bruff Creek; if you haven’t been to Great Sand Dunes National Monument, you should schedule some time for it while you're here. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. There's so much to do here at Beeman Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Pinyon Flats Campground       is a tremendous place for that, and J M Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to. Beeman Reservoir is pretty dehydrated commonly; the month with most of the rain is August, and January on the other hand is the driest. Having a splendid time at Beeman Reservoir is trouble-free. There is a magnificent hiking trail in the vicinity of Beeman Reservoir called the Music Pass Trail, and going for a hike on the Strawberry Trail is always a nice adventure. Yeah,                  come up here to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains for a nice time. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Cross D Bar Trout Ranch is a good place to do that, and the Cascade Trail is a good hiking trail close by. Beeman Dam is a scenic place right next door to Beeman Reservoir, and if you're here, you could also take a look at beautiful Wolf Reservoir. During the summertime at Beeman Reservoir highs are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's.
