Dewey Park is a magnificent place to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from The Beaver Ponds, you'll hit upon Borah Lake which is a gorgeous lake; there's whitewater on -blank- for all you thrill seekers. So many cool things in the Sawatch Range, just mind-boggling. Lakes? Sure, Erickson Lake is in the vicinity, and Masonic Monument is an exciting       place to go to while at The Beaver Ponds. Cherry Creek is in the vicinity of The Beaver Ponds and is always a bliss to explore; camping at Gypsum Creek Campground is always a magnificent experience. Summertime at The Beaver Ponds arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows through the wintertime for The Beaver Ponds tend to be                  in the 0's. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at The Beaver Ponds. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Antone Trail; camping is available at River Dance RV Resort. The Beaver Ponds is regularly a pretty dried up site; the month with most of the rain is April; June is the month with the least moisture. The Sawatch Range scenery is always beautiful. And that's not all you can do here in the Sawatch Range. Head up to Aspen Highlands and strap some skis to your feet, and The Beaver Ponds is right by the Salt Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dewey Park Gulch is a brilliant site to take a look at nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Eagle, Co. After a long day outdoors The Green Drake is a delightful spot to spend a night or two; you can run the rapids of Roaring Fork.
