On a magnificent day at Beaver Ponds you can take a hike along the Farmers Creek Trail; not far from Beaver Ponds you'll locate Benito Lake which is a stunning lake. Through the summertime months at Beaver Ponds highs are commonly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Beaver Ponds.       So many enjoyable things to do in the San Juan Mountains, not enough time. If you need a site to stay Allington Inn and Suites is a wonderful choice. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Machin Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn. This site, the San Juan Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining things. From Beaver Ponds you acquire a great sight of                  La Garita Peak, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Skyline Trail. Beaver Ponds gets very little precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. What a place this is for outdoors folks. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Beaver Ponds called the Wason Stock Driveway. There's so much to do here at Beaver Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Broadacres Traveling Teepee is a glorious spot for that.
