     Beaver Point Number Two Reservoir is right by the McPhee Stock Trail, and Bean Canyon is without doubt a pleasant site to take a look at. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Frink Trail, and if you get bored of Beaver Point Number Two Reservoir you could also have a look at nearby Beaver Point Number Four Reservoir. After a long day outdoors Dunton Hot Springs is a great site to spend a night or two; Mesa Verde National Park is a splendid local destination.  
   This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Beaver Point Number Two Reservoir is Cozy Comfort RV Park and Mountain Retreat; a short visit to Rush Spring is always worthwhile.
All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Beaver Point Number Two Reservoir get into the 80's while night lows are generally in the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Beaver Point Number Two Reservoir are in
 
               the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Cortez. Camping is available at Dolores River RV Park, and Beaver Point Number Three Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
Around Beaver Point Number Two Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Beaver Point Number Two Reservoir. Hiking along the Stoner Stock Trail is wonderful fun, and get dripping wet paddling on Dolores River.

Puett Reservoir
A.M. Puett Reservoir was originally constructed in 1905, and then reconstructed in 1960. It contains 163 surface acres when full and is owned and operated by the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company. The lake is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife and open for public fishing from the bank and from trolling motor powered boats. No swimming is allowed. The lake is on private land and access is limited to 3 feet above the high water line....

La Mesa RV Park
We stayed in this campground mid-July 2006. Very efficient, friendly park. Adequate power, water, and sewage hookups. Rates were reasonable; and the manager did indicate that longer stays were discounted. Nice fenced dog run for our puppies to enjoy. The microbrewery in town has a wide selection of locally made beverages. I would gladly stop at La Mesa RV Park again....

Summit Reservoir
Summit Lake was constructed in 1905 and reconstructed and enlarged in 1938. It is owned and operated by the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company. It contains 402 surfqace acres when full. The lake is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) and open for public fishing. Public access is from highway 184 on the north side of the lake. There is a boat ramp. Fishing is allowed from the bank or from hand powered or trolling motor powered boats only. The public access is maintained by the DOW. The only facilities present is a boat ramp and a pit toilet. No fires, swimming or overnight camping is allowed....
