Hotel & Shops is a good site to get some rest; camping is available at El Vado Lake Camping Resort.       And if that's not sufficient there's a load more cool stuff to do in the San Juan Mountains. Get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Rio Brazos, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Elk Creek Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 60's to Beaver Lakes, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Beaver Lakes. You imagine                  that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Lakes?
