Stay the night at El Vado Lake Camping Resort. Dry warm beds await you at Branding Iron Motel; do stop by Glacier Lakes, it's a pretty lake. Beaver Lakes gets a lot of water; through the month of March you get the most snow around here while June is frequently the driest month. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Beaver Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Trujillo       Meadows Campground, and nearby you hit upon the Elk Creek Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. High temperatures at Beaver Lakes during the summertime months are in the 60's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Beaver Lakes dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. So much cool stuff to do here at Beaver Lakes, too glorious to be true. A pretty lake like Crater Lake close to Beaver Lakes                  is a fine place to pop by, and the La Manga Stock Driveway is a fine hiking trail nearby. Beaver Lakes is a beautiful lake in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. So much entertaining stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, not enough time. Drift down the rapids of Rio Chama in a kayak, and there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Red Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
