This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well have       a look at Mud Gulch, and a great nearby hotel is Grand Lodge Crested Butte. Through the summertime, highs frequently are in the 70's at Beaver Lake Reservoir, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Beaver Lake Reservoir. Good hiking is available along the Trail Riders Trail; let's not forget Carbonate Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay.
