Beaver Lake is frequently a relatively dried out spot; July is the month that gets the most rain, and June on the other
hand is the driest. Summer at Beaver Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Beaver Lake. Glide
down the rapids of San Juan River in a kayak; Beaver Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day, Pagosa Riverside Campground is a great location to camp nearby.

I am a very close relative of the land owners for a significant portion of the East Fork. There is a couple of miles of river that is private land. Using the river or the land without authorization is tresspassing and is illegal. I am by no means giving you permission to use it. I am simply stating the facts. The take out after Mesa Canyon is where Trujillo Rd gets close to the river on R Left @ 37. 125988°, -107. 051072°
