If you came for an overnight stay Jumbo Reservoir Campground is a wonderful place to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Delta. This lake is so wonderful. Spruce Point is an out of the ordinary thing to catch a glimpse of if you're here at Beaver Lake, and Beaver Lake is right by the Carson Lake       Trail. Hiking along the West Bench Trail is glorious fun, and get covered with water paddling on Kannah Creek. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Beaver Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 90's, and the night is rather colder of course, frequently in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Beaver Lake dip into the 10's. Beaver Lake gets very little rain;                  the month with most of the rain is October while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Jumbo Dam is an exciting thing to check out; why not take a refreshing hike along the Deep Creek Trail. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Very wonderful scenery and great skiing is what you get at Powderhorn; Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a glorious place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
