The beauty of Beaver Lake is reason enough to stop by. Around Beaver Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; September is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
