    The beauty of Beaver Lake is reason enough to stop by. Around Beaver Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; September is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Drift down the rapids of Cimarron River in a kayak, and not far from Beaver Lake you acquire some pleasant water scenery at Silver Jack Dam. All year is a good time in the  
   San Juan and Jemez Mountains if you like the outdoors. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Beaver Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big Cimarron Campground, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Alpine Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. A good spot like Cabbage Patch here at Beaver Lake is too good to miss; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Beaver Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm
 
               beds await you at St.Elmo Hotel, and a quick visit to Fish Creek is positively a nice idea. If the weather is great here at Beaver Lake, you can go for a hike along the Lou Creek Trail, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Ouray is a magnificent place to spend a night or two.
This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Get wet paddling on Cimarron River; going for a hike along the Deer Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Beaver Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Beaver Lake.
Beaver Lake is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Beaver Lake Campground is a nice spot to camp nearby; of course, this is a good region for people who like lakes, Silver Jack Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity. Beaver Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
