Beaver Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Be careful coming to Beaver Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. On a wonderful day at Beaver Lake you can take a hike along the Deer Creek Trail, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Cimarron River. Summer at Beaver Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Beaver Lake nighttime

| | low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. And if that's not enough there's plenty more cool stuff to do in the San Juan Mountains. Silver Jack Dam is not far at all from Beaver Lake, and close by you come across the Alpine Trail which is a perfect hiking trail.
Camping at Big Cimarron Campground is always a perfect experience, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Beaver Lake. Now, you may | |

assume that's a load but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the San Juan Mountains. Comfort Inn Ouray is a good location to get some rest; Cabbage Patch is a great place here at Beaver Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
Why not pop by close by Fish Creek if you're here at Beaver Lake, and the Lou Creek Trail is a good hiking trail close by.
The San Juan Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Beaver Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a
day at, Beaver Lake Campground is a glorious local campground, and get dripping wet paddling on Cimarron River. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Ouray Chalet Inn is a fine spot to spend a night or two.
At Beaver
Lake you don’t see much precipitation; September is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
