Many people like to go to Beaver Lake. At Beaver Lake Dam next to Beaver Lake there are some attention-grabbing things to see, and you'll stumble on a scenic lake called Beaver Lake. Beaver Lake is ordinarily a relatively dried out location; the month with most of the rain is September while February is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side journey to Fish Creek, and Cabbage Patch is right here at Beaver Lake. If only every site had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great world it would be. Hiking along the Alpine Trail is tremendous fun, and paddling on Cimarron River is so much fun. Beaver Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Juan Mountains. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Beaver Lake, and the nighttime is fairly colder of course, generally in the 50's. For the period
of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Beaver Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Beaver Lake is great fun, Big Cimarron Campground is a great local campground.
If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the San Juan Mountains. Alpine Motel is a pleasant spot to get some rest, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Deer Creek Trail.
