You'll meet a lot of people from Edwards here, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Lake Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Beaver Creek, and Beaver Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Half Moon Campground is a magnificent local campground. whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Beaver Lake is Eagle River, and don’t forget to stop at McCoy Park since you're here at Beaver Lake. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Sawatch Range will keep you coming back many times.
If the weather is magnificent here at Beaver Lake, you can go for a hike along the New York Mountain Trail; for you golfers we recommend nearby Beaver Creek Golf Course. Beaver Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sawatch Range.
