Beaver Creek Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Rio Grande. Beaver Creek Reservoir gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the snow is March while June is usually the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
Summertime highs at Beaver Creek Reservoir commonly tend to be in the 60's.

| | During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Beaver Creek Reservoir. Good hiking is available along the Lake Fork National Recreation Trail, and why not camp at Beaver Creek Campground while you're here at Beaver Creek Reservoir. You imagine that's enough? and at Mill Creek Dam in the neighborhood of Beaver Creek Reservoir there are some exciting things to see.
This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Wolf Creek Stock Driveway, and The Spruce Lodge is a splendid place to
get some rest. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There are magnificent locations to explore along the Hot Creek Stock Driveway; if you're here why not explore Meadow Pass. Demijohn Peak
is a peak you can catch a sight of from Beaver Creek Reservoir, and getting to Beaver Creek from Beaver Creek Reservoir is painless.
All year is a wonderful time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains if you like the outdoors. There's
whitewater on Wolf Creek for all you adrenaline kick people, and a good nearby hotel is Allington Inn and Suites.
