hike along the Beaver Brook Trail; Arapaho Springs Campground is a glorious campground nearby. Beaver Brook Number 3A Reservoir is located in the Front Range. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do in the vicinity
of Beaver Brook Number 3A Reservoir. Hiking along the Mount Thorodin Trail is wonderful fun, and dry warm beds await you at Quality Suites Evergreen. If you came for an overnight stay Singin' River Ranch is a fine spot to camp.
This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Mount Pence can be spotted from Beaver Brook Number 3A Reservoir; paddling on Clear Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Hiwan Golf Club, and do stop at Hiwan Number 4 Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake.

Connecting Eldorado canyon to Chatauqua with a very scenic 10 mile trail makes it hard to imagine so much open park land minutes away from the urban corridor. Either way is a great hike, a good start hike in the spring but there it just gets better. Work you way to Green mountain, then Bear and then Bear via Fern canyon. You'll fall in love with this place. It should be noted that there are lots of wild animals there. Saw a bear twice one morning, we kept intersecting the trail at the same time as it was.... |
