Do stop by Bear Lakes while you're in this part of Colorado. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable things to do in the Park Range. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Steamboat while you're here, and close by you discover the Lone Pine Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. is a delightful lake, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Elk River. Bear Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Park Range. This lake is so wonderful. A good spot to check out next to Bear Lakes is Ute Pass, and dry warm beds await
you at CrossTimbers at Steamboat.
You can make out Bear Mountain from Bear Lakes. There's so much to do here at Bear Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Helena Campground is a tremendous site for that. This lake is so
wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Winterwood Townhomes is a pleasant choice. Bear Lakes is usually a reasonably dried out spot; through April this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Going for a hike on the Ute Pass Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and if you came to camp Lakeside Campground is a wonderful location to do that.
