    Bear Lake is a lake worth visiting. It is very dried out here at Bear Lake usually; the month with most of the rain is October, and the driest month is February. You're probably addicted to lakes, Coulter Lake is one of those nearby; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Orphan Spring. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SILT is a perfect location to spend a night or two.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit White River - South
 
   Fork, and as expected, this is a good area for people who like lakes, Corbett Lake is a lake close at hand. The Last Chance Trail offers hiking at its best, and dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn & Suites Rifle. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Bear Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime  
               at Bear Lake temperatures descend to the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. A glorious site to camp here at Bear Lake is Little Box Canyon Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Hay Flat Trail. Don’t forget to take a look at Long Park while you're here at Bear Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Bear Lake; Mansfield Ditch Trail is a magnificent local trail. If you adore the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Bear Lake. Coulter Dam is not far at all from Bear Lake; Bear Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Three Forks Campground is a perfect local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. A great location close to Bear Lake is Garden Gulch, and swing by G V Creek it's a fine place to stop by.

located at the foot of Blair Mountain Adams Lake is well worth the trip. Definatly a 4 wheel drive Jeep Trail but only a few miles from Elk lakes, Jet lake, Shadow Lake, Blair lakes , Crater Lake, Deep lake and bison lake. Lots of Cut throat trout, rainbows and browns. Most deffinatly more than a one day trip. Always plan for all kinds of weather, and definitely tent camping only....
