Long Park is a beautiful place any time of year, also Coulter Dam is worth checking out since you're here. You might want to pay a visit to Garden Gulch since you're here at Bear Lake; if you came to camp Little Box Canyon Campground is a great site to do that. Bear Lake is usually a rather waterless place; through October this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. here you can take a hike along the Hay Flat Trail. Through the summer months highs here at Bear Lake reach the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's, and night
lows through the winter for Bear Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Coulter Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at; a tour to Orphan Spring will fill your soul with great feelings. There's some flowing
water nearby, G V Creek is a stream you can take a look at while you're here, and a lake close by is Corbett Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SILT-RIFLE is a magnificent site to get some rest; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Mansfield Ditch Trail.

Definatly a 4 wheel drive Jeep Trail but only a few miles from Elk lakes, Jet lake, Shadow Lake, Blair lakes , Crater Lake, Deep lake and bison lake. Lots of Cut throat trout, rainbows and browns.
