You might want to pay a visit to Garden Gulch since you're here at Bear Lake; if you came to camp Little Box Canyon Campground is a great site to do that. Bear Lake is usually a rather waterless place; through October this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you       then we recommend White River - South Fork. After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn & Suites Rifle is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and going for a hike along the Last Chance Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things near Bear Lake. There's so much to do here at Bear Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Three Forks Campground is a good location for that, and since you're                  here you can take a hike along the Hay Flat Trail. Through the summer months highs here at Bear Lake reach the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's, and night lows through the winter for Bear Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Coulter Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at; a tour to Orphan Spring will fill your soul with great feelings. There's some flowing water nearby, G V Creek is a stream you can take a look at while you're here, and a lake close by is Corbett Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
