There are some great whitewater spots on South Platte River, and some nearby water includes Beaver Dam Creek. Dry warm beds await you at Greenview South Beach, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can       always visit close by Lake George Reservoir. You completely have to fancy Bayou Salado Reservoir. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Front Range has to offer. This is a wonderful area for people who like lakes. Tarryall Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity, and if you came to camp Spruce Campground is a magnificent location to do that. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. If you're here, you might as well pop                  by Spring Gulch, and great hiking is available along the Hankins Trail. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Front Range is unbeatable! If you come at the right time of year, South Platte River offers some brilliant whitewater; you can take a little visit to Bayou Salado Dam while you're here at Bayou Salado Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you haven’t been to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here. There's so much to do here at Bayou Salado Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Spruce Grove Campground is a magnificent site for that. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are really abundant here at Bayou Salado Reservoir. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bayou Salado Reservoir; Indian Creek Trail is a great local trail, and the summit of South Tarryall Peak can be seen from Bayou Salado Reservoir. Summertime highs at Bayou Salado Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; night lows in the 0's for Bayou Salado Reservoir.
