Nearby lakes? Sure, De Beque Reservoir is close to Baugh Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is nice on Kannah Creek. There's so much to do here at Baugh Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Jumbo Reservoir Campground is a great location for that, obviously you could also take a look at Sunnyside Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. to do here at Baugh Reservoir. Stay the night at Canyon Lake Campground, and charming scenery and tremendous skiing is what you get at Powderhorn. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Spruce Point Trail is wonderful fun,
and a brilliant close by hotel is Wine Country Inn. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Baugh Reservoir, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's.
Through the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Baugh Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. The vista of beautiful Kimbell Mesa near Baugh Reservoir is great, and do take a hike on the Godding Eisberry Grade.
