Sure, De Beque Reservoir is close to Baugh Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is nice on Kannah Creek. There's so much to do here at Baugh Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Jumbo Reservoir Campground is a great location for that, obviously you could also take a look at Sunnyside Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. At Baugh Reservoir you always meet someone from Grand Junction; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn       Express Hotel & Suites Parachute is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. Not much rain falls here at Baugh Reservoir; August is the wettest month with most rain, and June is when it's the driest. You need to take a look at East Monument while you're here at Baugh Reservoir, and going for a hike along the West Bench Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff                  to do here at Baugh Reservoir. Stay the night at Canyon Lake Campground, and charming scenery and tremendous skiing is what you get at Powderhorn. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Spruce Point Trail is wonderful fun, and a brilliant close by hotel is Wine Country Inn. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Baugh Reservoir, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Baugh Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
