Basin Reservoir is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Walton Creek Campground is a glorious place to camp nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Colorado River. Be careful coming to the Park Range, you might not ever wanna return home again. A lake close by is Milk Creek Reservoir, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Buffalo Park Trail. There are       some pleasant whitewater spots on Rock Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Steamboat has good slopes and a friendly staff, and why not visit nearby Little Muddy Creek while you're here at Basin Reservoir. Going for a hike on the Service Creek Trail is always a fine adventure; Base Campground is a splendid local campground. Through the days of summer at Basin Reservoir highs are typically in the 80's; the overnight is a tad chillier of course, frequently in                  the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Basin Reservoir drop into the-10's. This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range. That right there is plenty of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Park Range has it all. A brilliant close by hotel is Winterwood Townhomes; Binco Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by. If you need a location to stay Allington Inn and Suites of Kremmling is a great choice, and you can hit the slopes at Howelsen Hill in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. There's always Binco Dam to explore in the neighborhood of Basin Reservoir, and nearby you locate the Midway Trail which is a splendid hiking trail.
