While you're here at Basin Number 2 Reservoir you can take a hike along the Bull and Brown Trail, and you'll come across a lovely lake called Basin Reservoir Number 2. Basin Number 2 Reservoir gets very little rain; most of the rain falls through October; the driest of the months is January. This lake       is so wonderful. On a good day at Basin Number 2 Reservoir you can take a hike along the Blue Grouse Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Spruce Grove Campground is a great spot to camp. For the period of the long summer days here at Basin Number 2 Reservoir, high temperatures frequently reach the 90's with night lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Basin Number 2 Reservoir. Dry                  warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Delta; you don’t have to go far from Basin Number 2 Reservoir to make out the water at Big Battlement Dam. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Powderhorn, and get drenched paddling on Kannah Creek. What a site this is for outdoors folks.
