Baron Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Eggleston Campground is a magnificent local campground, and there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Crag Crest Trail. If you came to camp Kiser Creek Campground is a splendid site to do that, and Alexander Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Delta is a glorious spot to spend       a night or two, and not far from Baron Lake you get some splendid water scenery at Barren Dam. Not much rainfall falls here at Baron Lake; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a great place to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Lily Lake Trail is always a fine adventure. Through the summer months, highs mostly are in the 90's at Baron                  Lake while nighttime lows are generally in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Baron Lake. So much fun stuff to do at Baron Lake, so little time.
