It's always fun to stop by Barnes Mill Reservoir. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Barnes Mill Reservoir, too tremendous to be true. If you come at the right time of year, San Miguel River offers some great whitewater; hiking is a popular thing to do around Barnes Mill Reservoir; Paradox Road is a perfect local trail. At Barnes Mill Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February.

A trip to Clay Creek Spring will fill your soul with pleasant feelings, and lots of people from Montrose come here. local campground. Having a fine time in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains is uncomplicated. Don't leave Barnes Mill Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Horsefly Trail. Lakes? Sure, Berry Reservoir is around here.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Barnes Mill Reservoir. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Barnes Mill Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. There's pleasant hiking along the Dry Creek Trail, and if you came to camp Iron Spring Campground is a great location to do that. The Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
