Soar down the rapids of Joe Wright Creek in a kayak; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Big South Trail. Box Canyon is a perfect location to take a look at close by, also Barnes Meadow Dam is worth taking a look at while you're here. If you like the outdoors, you'll love Barnes Meadow Reservoir. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close       by Chambers Lake; you can stay the night at Aspen Glen Campground.
