     The beauty of Banjo Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is located in the wonderful Sangre De Cristo Mountains. During the warm days of summer highs here at Banjo Lake get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and overnight lows at Banjo Lake during the winter typically descend into the 10's. Not much precipitation falls here at Banjo Lake; the month  
   of August is the wettest with most of the rain while January is frequently the driest month.
So much entertaining stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, just incredible. A beautiful lake like Brush Creek Lakes near Banjo Lake is a great site to check out, and you must undeniably dedicate some time to Big Branch while you're here at Banjo Lake. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. A magnificent site to camp here
 
               at Banjo Lake is Lake Creek Campground; AppleLodge Bed And Breakfast is a delightful spot to get some rest. You just ought to have a thing about Banjo Lake. Don't leave Banjo Lake without first going for a hike along the Lake of the Clouds Trail, and a great spot to check out is Henderson Gulch.
You get a brilliant vista of De Anza Peak from Banjo Lake, and it's a magnificent idea to stop at Middle Fork Cotton Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at North Crestone Campground, and going for a hike on the Crossover Trail is always a pleasant adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. There are pleasant locations to explore along the Cotton Trail, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Arkansas River.
