A visit to Balsam Lake is always a good idea. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan Mountains. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Deer Park Trail; why not camp at Silver Summit RV Park And Jeep Rentals if you're here at Balsam Lake. Balsam Lake is pretty dried up commonly; August is when you get the most rain here while June is commonly the driest month.
Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel is a perfect place to get some rest,

| | and if you came for an overnight stay Silverton Lakes Campground is a nice site to camp. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are truly plentiful here at Balsam Lake. Lakes are such serene spots, why not go to Arrow Lake near Balsam Lake, and Balsam Lake lays in the shadow of the Grenadier Range.

all the entertaining stuff in the San Juan Mountains. Going for a hike along the Brooklyn Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and if you need a location to stay Cascade Village is a delightful choice. So
many amusing things in the San Juan Mountains, just mind-boggling. Hiking along the Whitehead Trail is magnificent fun, and there's whitewater on Animas River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
This lake is so wonderful. The
slopes of Silverton are so inviting nobody can resist, and get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Vallecito Creek. High temperatures at Balsam Lake through the summertime are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends
down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Balsam Lake are in the 0's.
